Griff is the lead singer of the band Sesamoid and one of the main protagonists in Far-Fetched. He is an unpredictable and accident-prone local trash can with a heart of gold.
An unpredictable airhead with a heart of gold, you'll probably find the lead singer of Sesamoid inside of your local trash can. Armed with a powerful voice and cursed with an accident prone existence, Griff is a friend to creatures both big and small. He was a bit of a drifter, happily just existing, until Quinn acquired him for the band. Now he makes his home inside of Sesamoid's untrusty ice cream truck: Papa Swirl. It may be hard to understand his logic sometimes, but he always has the best intentions.[2][3]
Appearance[]
With a Japanese punk style, he wears a red sweater with striped black and grey long sleeved shirt under. His earrings are black, along with his soul patch. There is a white Band-Aid on his nose and his brown hair is shaved on the sides. His green baggy pants lead to his black suspenders, whereupon are hanging down, and his black sneakers are plain for the most part, only having the lace be a slightly lighter black.
Personality[]
He is a laid-back pacifist (a person who believes that war and violence are unjustifiable)[4] And Ashley also describes him as a trash gremlin with a heart of gold, [5] he tends to leave you with more questions than answers after you talk to him. He is a talented singer, but this doesn't mean he's graceful hence living an 'accident prone existence'.
In the band's van, he sometimes sleeps on the window bench, sometimes he flops over the passenger seat, he's even passed out star gazing on the roof. Pillows and blankets are frivolous to him.[10]
Griff idolizes Drain and even thinks they are great friends.[11]
In a horror movie, Griff would probably befriend the killer.[12]
Although Griff doesn't have a birthday, he does have a special day, which is April 1st.[13]
Griff is Japanese and can speak the language.[18][19]
Griff and Warren are the loosest possible definition of "roommates", Warren will toss him into the bathtub whenever he gets too stinky and Griff even stays with Warren during the winter.[20][21]
